SHELBY COUNTY, Ohio — For three years, Spirit EMS has distributed first-aid kits to Shelby County farmers. This year, they expanded by teaming up with the Darke County Chamber of Commerce and FFA chapters to offer essential supplies, including sponsored first-aid kits.

“As a family-owned business, we’re dedicated to giving back to our community,” Spirit EMS President/CEO Brian K. Hathaway said. Since 2008, the Darke County Chamber’s “Stay Safe - Take a Break” program has encouraged farmers to take breaks during the busy harvest season.
