AUSTIN, Texas — Austin-Travis County EMS Motor Medics recently completed advanced training exercises to prepare for navigating tight crowds and obstacles commonly encountered during special events.

Captains Jacobsen, Lynch and Mueller led the team through cone courses designed to simulate real-world conditions.

The ATCEMS Motors Team often serves as the first EMS presence during large events. In some cases, Motor Medics have initiated life-saving care, including reviving patients in cardiac arrest, before additional units arrived on scene.
