PHENIX CITY, Ala. — An EMT responded to a call of an unresponsive baby Saturday and realized it was her own child that needed help once she arrived on the scene.
MyFoxAL.com reported that the Phenix City EMT worker responded to a home-based daycare where the baby was reportedly shaken until it was unresponsive.
Sherae Reich was arrested and charged with child abuse and the 2 month-old was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to the report.
The baby was discharged from the hospital on Sunday and sent home to recover. Reich’s bond has been set at $10,000 and the daycare was stated as unlicensed, according to the report.
