DENVER — An ambulance was hit by a car while loading two crash victims in the middle of an intersection Thursday.
9News reported that three people were seriously injured — including an unbuckled 6-year-old girl — after a car attempting to turn left struck a minivan.
Paramedics at the scene said the child may have suffered paralyzing injuries, according to the report.
While the victims of the first incident were being loaded into an ambulance parked in the middle of the intersection, a third vehicle struck the ambulance, according to the report.
Police shut down the intersection for several hours during the investigation.
