The crash occurred at 8:22 a.m., according to a social media post by Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. Bel Air Police and Maryland State Police also responded.

Harford Emergency Medical Services requested a Medevac helicopter, but later cancelled it, according to their social media.

Cristie Hopkins, spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, said one person was trapped, but after they were removed, the level of care didn’t require a helicopter transport.

Baltimore Pike had reopened, but a section of North Tollgate was still closed as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, Hopkins told The Aegis.

Harford County Sheriff’s Office will lead the crash investigation, according to the post.
