For the first time, educators can add a second on-screen character — a Virtual Interactive Person, or VIP — who takes on a customizable role such as a bystander, colleague, family member, or instructor, turning a one-on-one patient encounter into a dynamic, multi-character scene.

Because VIPs bring their own animations, dialogue, and reactions to the encounter, learners must now read the room, communicate with the people around the patient, and manage a scene the way they would in the field or at the bedside.   • New On-Screen Characters (VIPs): Populate scenarios with a second character playing a customizable role — bystander, colleague, family member, instructor, and more — each with their own animations, dialogue, and reactions.
  • Elevated Patient Realism: A major overhaul to patient appearance and clothing, including hair and new outfits — scrubs, an EMS uniform, and fire department uniforms — helps scenarios match the clinical setting more precisely. The update also introduces Leah, a new patient avatar who expands the diversity of the patient library.
  • Smarter AI Conversations: AI dialogue is more intelligent and emotionally responsive, enabling increasingly dynamic patient interactions that adapt to learner input.
  • Free Camera Movement: Learners can pan, zoom, rotate, and move freely around any scene to observe a patient or procedure from any angle.
  • Improved Grading and Reports: Clearer evaluation and feedback, copyable evaluation text, scenario names and timestamps, and cleaner export formatting make it easier to track and communicate learning outcomes.
  • Authoring Tool Upgrades: Latin American Spanish voices and richer scenario logic give educators more tools to build lifelike, nuanced cases — without writing a single line of code.
