Ambulance crash leaves N.D. paramedic seriously injured

Other EMS providers also were hurt in the rear-end crash at the scene of a prior accident

EDMORE, N.D. — A paramedic was seriously injured after a Jeep rear-ended a stopped ambulance around 11 a.m. Monday, Valley News Live reported. Four other people also were injured in the crash.

Crewmembers with the Edmore Ambulance Service were treating an injured driver from a rollover crash off State Highway 1.

Then an 89-year-old man hit the ambulance with his Jeep. He was seriously injured.

Three additional EMS providers were injured.

The Jeep driver, the woman from the prior incident, and two EMS providers were transported to a hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
