MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Pa. medic and patient were rescued after almost falling over a hillside.
Firefighters responded to the call Sunday night, when an ambulance transporting a patient had accidentally backed up too far, according to WPXI.
“They were backing down and went over the lip of the driveway and they were teetering on the driveway over a hillside,” Moon Township Police Chief Leo McCarthy said.
McCarthy said the 90-minute ordeal was tense as the ambulance hung on the hillside and the patient and medic were removed from the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
