PORTLAND, Ore. — A weekend crash on a ramp connecting I-205 and I-84 sent a car underneath a semi-truck, demolishing the top half of the car, Portland Fire & Rescue reported. The driver of the car survived.

The Sunday afternoon collision resulted in the truck and the car twisted across the ramp. Firefighters had to extricate someone from each vehicle. The injured individuals were taken to a nearby hospital, but “neither had critical injuries,” Portland Fire & Rescue said on social media.

Portland Fire & Rescue hasn’t released details of the crash or said whether it’s determined the cause. The names of the injured have not been released.
