PHOENIX — Police arrested a man after he fired a shot into an ambulance with four people onboard and attempted to rob a convenience store early Sunday morning.
Leroy Scott, 25, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest, reported AZ Central.
Officials said Scott fired a single shot into an ambulance outside a hospital before fleeing; no one was injured.
Scott was later apprehended after attempting to rob a convenience store and firing a second shot into the air. He was identified as the suspect who shot into the ambulance earlier that evening, Phoenix Police Sgt. Vince Lewis told AZ Family.
