SPRINGVILLE, Ala. — The Springville Fire Department has received $195,142.85 in federal funding through the FY 2024 Assistance to Firefighters Grant, administered by the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA.

The funding will go toward purchasing new EMS equipment to improve the department’s ability to provide advanced lifesaving care for residents and visitors in Springville and St. Clair County, ABC 3340 reported.
