This week’s Photo of the Week comes from Hopkins County (Texas) EMS, showings its members ready for a late-night deployment to Hurricane Laura impact areas with its ambulance bus, or AMBUS.
The Hopkins County EMS crew and AMBUS are part of Texas Emergency Medical Task Force (TXEMTF) 4. The TXEMTF deployed 10 strike teams to the Gulf Coast to assist with rescue efforts.
One AMBUS can carry up to 20 patients at a time.
