CALHOUN, Ga. — Police were called to Calhoun Primary School around 2 p.m. today in response to a report of a child in distress.
Officers were told that the student, a 9-year-old girl, appeared to have gotten her neck stuck between a partially rolled-up window and the door frame of a vehicle.
The victim was non responsive. She was taken by ambulance to Gordon Hospital, and subsequently flown to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.
Police are investigating the incident.
