HARRISON CITY, Pa. — Paramedics routinely transport expecting mothers to the hospital. However, it’s rare that the child is born during the ride.
That’s what happened on July 21, when Paige Reese McLaughlin was born. Missy McLaughlin was home with her oldest child when she went into labor.
Her husband raced home and they called 911. But their daughter had no plans of waiting as the ambulance raced to the hospital.
