Dr. Tan shares his opinion regarding how medical directors need to prepare their providers, how reimbursements will change and what the new model means for education requirements across the industry. The ET3 model will allow EMS agencies to bill for treat and release, as well as for transporting to alternative destinations and utilizing community paramedicine programs.
