Sussex County EMS, Georgetown, Delaware, recently trained on the use of aviation based on clinical and operational situations in conjunction with Delaware State Police Aviation, Bethany Beach Fire Department, Laurel Fire Department, Millville Fire Department and Georgetown American Legion EMS. The four days of training consisted of lectures followed up with high-fidelity simulation scenarios to develop the teamwork required to effectively manage these highly dynamic scenes.
