LYNN, Mass. — An ambulance was stolen from a Beverly Hospital bay Friday night, where a high speed chase through two towns began.
Salem police picked up the pursuit as the stolen ambulance raced down Rte 1A. Five cars and two police cruisers were smashed during the chase.
The suspect, 38 year-old William Guzman, ended the wild ride when he bailed out of the ambulance on the corner of Lewis and Cherry Streets in Lynn.
