Aus. ambulance station heist foiled

QUEENSLAND, Aus. — Paramedics stumbled across a man allegedly robbing the Tully ambulance station on Saturday. A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the ambulance officers were called out on a job about midday.

They returned to find a man had allegedly broken into the station.

The paramedics phoned police and the man was arrested.

The spokeswoman said a 19-year-old Tully man was charged in relation to seven offences including burglary, three counts of stealing and three counts of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle. He will appear in Innisfail Magistrates Court today.
