This week’s Photo of the Week comes from New York EMT Nicholas Desjardin, who shared this photo of EMS providers from Northwell Health EMS in Queens and Superior Ambulance Service in Chicago working together in the battle against COVID-19 in New York City.
"(We) stopped for just a second to take this photo. NYC is in bad shape and these great people stepped up to answer the call,” Desjardin said.
The Superior Ambulance personnel are among at least a dozen EMS providers from Chicago who have traveled to New York to assist during the pandemic, according to CBS Chicago.
