BIG ROCK, Ill. — Friends, family and colleagues are mourning the death of a longtime firefighter-paramedic who died from cancer over the weekend.
Halina Kline, 56, worked for the Big Rock Fire Department for over 20 years and acted as a “mom to everyone,” Fire Chief John Ruh said.
Kline also served the Batavia Fire Department, reported WSPY. Her death comes almost nine years after her paramedic partner at the department, Marco, died Jan. 25.
