EUCLID, Ohio — An Ohio fire department published a Facebook post on Tuesday expressing frustration after a car attempting to get a parking spot clipped an ambulance responding to a call.
The Euclid Fire Department post said an uninsured driver tried to squeeze past the rig, which was stopped at the scene of a cardiac and respiratory emergency on Monday night.
“Today’s public service announcement is to remind other motorists that emergency vehicles park in a manner to quickly control an emergency,” the post said. “Yes, we know it’s an inconvenience, but it’s temporary. The damage done was cosmetic but another ambulance had to be called to transport the patient since we can’t leave the scene of an accident.”
The post concluded with an emoji depicting an angry face swearing.
