HACKETTSTOWN. N.J. — A medic who police saw drive past the address for a medical call was later charged with driving while intoxicated.
Police say James Rigney Jr., 39, of Hackettstown First Aid & Rescue Squad, drove the wrong way into the complex after initially traveling past the location.
The Star Ledger reported police smelled alcohol coming from Rigney Jr. when he exited the ambulance.
