CLEARWATER, Fla. ─ A wrong-way driver was arrested and charged with a DUI after nearly colliding with an ambulance.
“I’m shaking in my pants because I’ve never ─ even in my personal vehicle ─ had anything like that happen to me before,” EMT Jacqueline Vazquez told FOX 13 News.
The driver, Nicholas Keeble, 28, swerved to avoid crashing into the ambulance and narrowly missed hitting an oncoming SUV.
“The driver coming the other way hit his brakes, swerved and came within less than five feet of us and stopped about two feet from the bumper of the SUV in the left-hand lane,” Vazquez said.
