EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A driver escaped from a dramatic crash at Bally’s Casino in Evansville after their vehicle drove off the top level of the casino’s parking garage and crashed through the roof of a nearby conference center.
The vehicle landed upside down inside the Executive Conference Center, coming to rest on top of an escalator, WEHT reported.
Officials reported that the driver managed to exit the vehicle independently and was transported to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The Evansville Police Department has confirmed that charges are expected to be filed against the driver once they are released from the hospital. The charges will include criminal recklessness and criminal mischief.
