CALDWELL, Idaho — A 32-vehicle crash about 30 miles west of Boise sent 15 people to area hospitals on Saturday.
A group of motorcyclists was heading west on Interstate 84 when “a crash occurred” that caused “several vehicles to come to a rest in the westbound lanes,” Idaho State Police said in a Saturday news release.

The crash involved 25 motorcycles and seven additional vehicles, police said.
Air and ground ambulances transported about 15 people to local hospitals, according to the release.
The accident occurred on I-84 near North Indiana Avenue in Caldwell. The interstate’s westbound lanes were blocked for about four hours.
Idaho State Police are investigating.
The agency was assisted at the scene by the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, Caldwell Police Department, Canyon County Paramedics, Caldwell Fire Department, Nampa Fire Department, Homedale Fire Department, Wilder Fire Department and Idaho Department of Transportation.
