OVERLAND PARK, Kan. —The 9-year-old girl whose 911 call saved her grandfather’s life was honored Thursday in Overland Park.
Isabelle Soubie was spending the night at her grandfather’s house when he suffered a diabetic incident. Unable to unlock his phone to call her mother, she used the emergency button to call 911.
“She was very calm,” said dispatcher Josh Lynch. “(It was) a scary situation.”
