Ferno unveiled the Ferno 2020 Vision Proof of Concept vehicle at FDIC.

Dubbed the “ambulance of the future,” the company says the vehicle creates a safer, more efficient and intelligent delivery of care. The ambulance is built on a compact Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.

The Ferno 2020 Vision Proof of Concept vehicle features the Ferno iN/Traxx Integrated Ambulance Component System, a modular, interchangeable storage and equipment mounting system that clicks into tracks mounted to the ambulance walls. It allows agencies to better manage supplies, easily customize the layout of the ambulance and deliver patient care while seated and restrained.

The vehicle is also equipped with ACETECH Vehicle Intelligence System to monitor ambulance deployment and performance.

You can see the rig at Ferno’s booth #1143 at FDIC and get a full demonstration. Visitors may also receive a free T-shirt benefitting The Code Green Campaign, which supports the mental health of first responders.
