BOROUGH PARK, N.Y. — Two paramedics and a bus driver were taken to a local hospital in serious condition after an ambulance collided with a school bus Sunday night, CBS reports.
There are reports that the ambulance responding to a call ran a red light on Fort Hamilton Parkway, crashing into a school bus traveling along 51st Street. The 16 teenagers on board were returning from a religious school, and suffered minor injuries. The collision occurred around 9 p.m.
The road was covered in snow, and officials are investigating the accident and believe weather played a factor.
