Eastern Snowstorm 2016

The January 2016 blizzard was the fourth most powerful snowstorm to hit the Northeast in at least 66 years. It affected 102.8 million people and covered about 434,000 square miles in 26 states. At least 52 people in 12 states died in storm-related incidents including car accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning and heart attacks while shoveling snow.
