DC Fire and EMS Department shares reflections on 1/6 anniversary

The department details what its members faced that day and thank DC police for their work to protect the U.S. Capitol

WASHINGTON — One year after the U.S. Capitol insurrection, the DC Fire and EMS Department is sharing reflections on the unprecedented day via social media.

The department also released a film about its response efforts to the event several months ago to provide fellow firefighters a look into what firefighters faced that day.
