Police said the injuries occurred after 30-year-old Mirsad Kahric, who was being treated inside an ambulance, allegedly attacked the two EMTs without provocation.
Both EMTs were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Kahric has been charged with second-degree assault, second-degree robbery, second-degree grand larceny and resisting arrest. He remains in custody at the Monroe County Jail.
