Pregnant paramedics respond as dad delivers daughter

The pregnant duo walked up as an Okla. father on the phone with a dispatcher saw the head of his baby daughter

OKLAHOMA CITY — Two pregnant paramedics responded to a call of an Oklahoma City dad who delivered his baby daughter Monday with help from dispatch.

Medics Madison White and Kacie Davis are both due in about eight weeks, and requested to work together so they would be on maternity leave at the same time and their partners wouldn’t have to work with anyone else, Newson6 reports.

“Our patients are always surprised to see us when we walk up,” White said.

In this case, they walked up just as Elias Pando was delivering his own daughter, Luna, born the night of the super moon.

By the time he rushed home from work, his 12-year-old son was already on the phone with a 911 dispatcher.

“I went to the restroom and she was on the ground and I saw the little head,” Pando said.

The baby and mom are both healthy.
