NEW YORK — Surveillance video just released shows an SUV crashing into a 12-year-old boy and pushing him through a storefront.
NBC 4 reports that the boy’s family has filed a notice of claim against the city for the May 10 incident. The city had identified that area as a “high-crash corridor with the amount of severe crashes and fatalities ranking in the top of 10 percent of all Bronx corridors.”
The boy, Abraham Al-Saidi, said his injuries didn’t hurt much at first because he was in too much shock. “I got hit hard,” he told NBC.
