Video: Stretcher carrying shooting victim tips over

EMS providers were loading him into an ambulance when the stretcher overturned and he fell to the ground

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rural/Metro EMS providers were loading a 20-year-old man who had been shot into an ambulance, when his stretcher tipped over and he fell to the ground.

Darelle Bolden was picked up by responders, and appeared to be conscious, WKBW reports.

Police expanded the crime scene to control the area.

The incident occurred Sunday around 8:30 p.m. A 16-year-old was also grazed by a bullet and did not seek medical attention.

Rural/Metro released a statement about the incident, saying “We take safety very seriously and we are investigating the circumstances surrounding this particular event.”
