BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Medical Center’s EMS team is making a record number of runs. In fact, it’s been four months in a row now. That’s why when the Kentucky Medical Board asked around to see who wanted to test a new piece of equipment, the group went first in the state.
“It’s put on in ten seconds. It stops the bleeding at the site and closes the skin on the wound,” said paramedic, Carol Ackerman.
