LINCOLN, Neb. — The drivers of a Weeping Water ambulance and a pickup truck died late Tuesday after their vehicles collided east of Lincoln.
The patient in the back of ambulance and two rescue squad personnel were injured. None of the victims’ names have been released by authorities.
Cass County Sheriff Bill Brueggemann said the crash between the 2002 Ford Ranger pickup and the ambulance occurred about 10:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 34 east of Nebraska Highway 1 near Elmwood, Neb.
