A mother at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston faces up to 10 years in prison for nearly pulling off her 6-year-old son’s genitals because she was angry with him. She then used superglue to try to repair them. The boy’s father returned home to find his son crying in an upstairs bathroom and took him to the hospital.
2. Video: Anti-drink-driving campaign shocks bathroom users
This video, part of a British anti-drink-driving campaign, shows men washing their hands in a London pub when, all of a sudden, the glass on the mirror breaks with an image of a woman’s head slamming through.
3. Video: Woman killed by runaway supermarket trolley on escalator
A woman in China was crushed to death by trolley loaded with 15 boxes of beverages that slid down an escalator and hit her from behind. The frightening incident was captured by a security camera, and the clip was widely circulated on the internet.
4. ‘Pregnant’ boy, 2, gives ‘birth’ after having parasitic twin removed from his stomach
A two-year-old boy from China was brought to the hospital after his stomach became so distended he had trouble breathing. Doctors discovered, and removed an undeveloped fetus of the boy’s own twin that measured 20 cm in width and had a fully formed spine and limbs, including fingers and toes.

A 34-year-old man was laid to rest in a coffin after he apparently died at his home following a long illness. Mourners said their emotional goodbyes during a funeral service — then scattered in disbelief when he started moving
6. Photo: Fisherman bleeds to death in horrific beaver attack
The fisherman wanted his photo taken with a beaver. The beaver had other ideas: It attacked the 60-year-old man with razor-sharp teeth, slicing an artery and causing him to bleed to death. It was the most serious in a string of beaver attacks on humans, as the rodents have turned increasingly aggressive when confronted.
7. Wounded soldier asks medic for ‘boob flash’ to relieve pain
Army medic Emily Tomkins won a bravery award for saving a badly wounded soldier, and revealed how he cheekily asked to see her boobs to relieve his agony. Tomkins brushed it off, and dragged him to safety.
8. Paralyzed man’s dog eats testicle while he sleeps
A 39-year-old man paralyzed from the waist down woke up in “burning pain” in his mid-section. He told police he sleeps in the nude and noticed the dog was between his legs and had blood on its muzzle and front feet.

A Washington state woman who regularly monitors police scanner traffic tweeted about a freeway crash, and then a series of panicked updates confirmed it was her husband.

A Ukrainian couple’s inability to rein in their passion for each other ended in tragedy when a woman was killed by a train and her partner had his legs torn off during pre-dawn love-making on a railway track.
