COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Colorado woman was arrested and charged with first and second-degree assault after allegedly punching a paramedic and trying to stab a police officer with an EpiPen.
EMS providers were the first to respond after Stevie Maria Adrian, 23, crashed her car on Friday, and she allegedly punched one of the medics after chasing around bystanders while holding a small dog, according to Fox 12 News.
When police arrived, officials say Adrian tried to stab one of them with an EpiPen in her possession, and also bit another officer who tried to stop her.
Adrian was charged with first-degree assault on a peace officer, second-degree assault on a paramedic, cruelty to animals and DUI.
