W.Va. installs first roadside memorial to remember paramedic

Paramedic Tennille Davis was struck, killed by impaired driver two years ago

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The first official roadside memorial sign in West Virginia will be installed Thursday.

Transportation Secretary Paul Mattox says it will be along Route 3 in Racine.

The sign will be dedicated to the memory of Tennille Davis. She was a Kanawha County Paramedic who was en route to work when her vehicle was struck by an impaired driver. The incident happened two years ago.
