‘Boston EMS’ reality show to premiere on ABC

Viewers will meet the EMS professionals answering a daily dose of trauma and mayhem in Boston

BOSTON — ABC announced the premiere of “Boston EMS” and “Save My Life: Boston Trauma,” two new reality TV shows featuring EMS providers and responses to trauma incidents, from the producers of “Hopkins,” “Boston Med,” and “NY Med.” ABC describes the shows as two adrenaline-packed series that follow trauma cases from the actual scene of unimaginable accidents.

“Boston EMS” will premiere on Saturday, July 25 at 9 p.m. Eastern.

“Boston EMS” follows a seasoned team of first responders, featuring many providers who responded to the Boston Marathon bombing. In “Boston EMS,” viewers will meet some of the heros of that terrible day as they answer new calls and respond to a daily dose of trauma and mayhem.

“Save My Life: Boston Trauma” will premiere on Saturday, July 19 at 10 p.m. Eastern

“Save My Life: Boston Trauma” will follow emergency room teams treating trauma patients at hospitals that include Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s.

This series tells many stories of heroism, poignancy, and unexpected humor. One minute a mother struggles with the news that her son has been critically wounded in a shooting, while in the next scene doctors become a captive audience as their patient launches into an impromptu rap.
