MAUMELLE, Ark. — Two EMTs were arrested after police pulled over their ambulance and found marijuana inside.
Arkansas Matters reported that Jarrett Hamilton, 29, and Nelson Giles, 25, EMTs with a Memphis ambulance company, are being held on a string of charges.
The pair were driving a newly purchased ambulance back to Memphis when police made the stop. Police became suspicious when they saw that Hamilton and Giles not wearing EMT uniforms; the rig also lacked any municipal identification.
The list of items found inside the ambulance included: cannabis infused oral spray, pot corn and green marijuana cigars.
They were charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and five counts of delivering, possessing and manufacturing drug paraphernalia or a counterfeit controlled substance, according to the report.
