DALLAS — Local departments of Acadian and American Medical Responders took to social media this week to post pictures in remembrance of five Dallas police officers who were killed while defending a peaceful protest last week.
While EMS is primarily handled by Fire departments in the Dallas area, a commenter in the AMR post reported that an Ellis County EMS crew performed CPR on a downed police officer at Baylor Medical Center.
The number of officers wounded by bullets or bullet fragments in the Dallas shootings has grown from seven to nine, said Dallas Police Chief David Brown to Time Magazine.
