Employees: Ambulance company took our paychecks

The paychecks started disappearing along with the company, which employees said shut down overnight

SAN DIEGO — Former employees of an ambulance company claim the company took their paychecks and disappeared overnight.

10News.com reported that one employee, named Chris, who worked for ER Ambulance for two years, said his paychecks started disappearing along with the company. He claims he is owed about $1,500 in wages.

“It went to half staffing after they had some issues and eventually they said everything was cancelled and the company disappeared overnight,” Chris said.

Court records show the company owes thousands of dollars to other employees as well, according to the report.

ER Ambulance’s owner, Rafael Silva, sold an entire fleet of ambulances and has not appeared at any of the court hearings.
