KINGSPORT, Tenn. — A Kingsport man who works as a medic for two local agencies was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to get a forged prescription filled, according to an affidavit filed in Kingsport General Sessions Court.
Chad Addington , 35, of Cox Trail Place, was charged with two counts of obtaining a legend drug by fraud and one count of attempt to obtain a legend drug by fraud.
Addington told police he is an emergency medical technician for Church Hill EMS and the Bristol Virginia Lifesaving Crew. His employment status with those two agencies since the charges is not known.
