Authorities at say 17 people are being transported to area hospitals after a Denver school bus carrying 24 middle school students crashed into a house this afternoon.
The extent of the injuries is unknown. Denver Fire Department spokesman Phil Champagne says there’s little damage in side the school bus, but the house had significant structural damage.
Fire, police and paramedics reported to the scene at Fifth Avenue and Albion Street in east Denver.
