OCEAN CITY, Md. — Police release tapes that contain a mother’s plea for help.

Last month, Patrick Boughter of Pennsylvania and his 10-year-old daughter died inside the Days Inn. The cause was carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty water heater. Their deaths have been ruled accidental.

Ocean City later revealed there was a communication breakdown with paramedics after the calls were transferred from Worcester County 9-1-1 to Ocean City Fire/EMS. WBOC obtained the 9-1-1 tapes from that day between a Worcester County dispatcher and Yvonne Boughter. ...
