CHICAGO — Six were hurt, including two EMTs when an SUV crashed into an ambulance transporting a patient to the hospital in a Chicago neighborhood on Saturday.

Inside the ambulance were two EMTs, the patient, and two family members at the time of the crash. The ambulance was driving with lights and siren on, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The SUV crashed into a light post after striking the ambulance, and the female driver was taken to the hospital with leg pains.

All six involved in the crash were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the article.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
