WARSAW, K.Y. — A northern Ky. man has been arrested after crashing into an ambulance and killing the patient on board.
Hunter LeGrand, 22, has been charged with murder, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, criminal mischief, and first-degree assault, according to the Associated Press.
LeGrand was driving an SUV in late July, crossed the road’s center line and hit an approaching ambulance, causing it to flip. The two medics inside were injured and the patient died.
Police suspect LeGrand was using drugs, but are waiting test lab results.
