MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Two EMS providers suffered minor injuries after their ambulance overturned on an interstate Thursday.

Paul Seamann, director of operations for Jan-Care, said the ambulance was merging onto an interstate when it was struck by a tractor-trailer, The DP Post reported.

Seamann said the ambulance was not transporting any patients at the time of the wreck. The two crew members’ names were not released, but they were assessed and later released from a hospital.

There was a separate two-car crash in the area after the ambulance crash. No one was injured the two-car crash.

Wet weather and roads reportedly contributed to the wreck.
