S.C. ambulance hits car, medic ticketed

The ambulance was running lights when it went through a red light and hit a left-turning car

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — An ambulance running emergency lights hit a left-turning car Thursday at an intersection, injuring two medics on board and the other driver.

The medic driving the ambulance was cited for disregarding a traffic signal, according to WMBF. The extent of the injuries to the medics is unknown.

The ambulance is owned by Parabasic, WMBF reported.
